For Americans – the goldilocks option

Quote from Mark Twain: (Q) How can you tell when a politician is lying?   (A) When he is moving his lips.Your 2012 election is in full swing and fraught with all kinds of difficulties. You have Obama to vote for, whose shine has come off the rose.He is a real disappointment after all his ever so fine speeches of the last election, and now you don’t know what to think….well, other than he isn’t Mitt Romney. And then you have Mitt to vote for, who maybe the Republicans wish that Mitt wouldn’t speak. If Mitt can walk and talk with his feet well planted in his mouth it is because he learned to pat his head while rubbing his tummy when a kid…. to prepare for this presidential trick. His jaffs should called MittMuffs. So what is it with  America that you only have 2 choices? What, you are OCD and you like the number 2. Even Monk was broader than that, he liked evens, while his arch nemesis, what’shisname, only tolerates odds.

I feel for you, caus’ even Goldilocks had 3 choices and you’re stuck with the two. You have Mitt , with his MittMuffs whose mouth is Too Hot  to  be a winning candidate, you have  Obama who has cooled to Too Cold after the last election when he was the hot item. And it seems like Too Cold is your only choice because Too Hot will burn your mouth. So where is Just Right? Is there some evil person out there hiding Just Right?

Well I don’t know about evil person, but your MediaMachine is not doing you any good, the MediaMachine has hidden who might potentially be your Just Right.

Cut and paste this for a look at what real change might look like, your possible 3rd option –  the Goldilocks option.   ( Johnson)

On a personal note: While I do not agree with Gary Johnson’s stand on some issues, at least the Ship-of-Affairs would be changing course in a more positive direction. (Webmaster Rob McQueen)

About pushinback

Back in 1993, I attended an anti-Nafta rally in Ottawa along with over 110,000 others. But despite the overwhelming opposition to NAFTA, the steamroller rolled on. It was there that I came to understand the one vital thing that I have been preaching ever since. There are so many issues, and so many fighting each issue, we are all spinning our wheels, and wasting our time, talents and energy, because each election, we give the politicians our power and so the deck is stacked against us. I said it that day and I say it with more fervency today. We all have one issue that we share, and we should all stop fighting for our own issues and losing anyways, and we should fight to achieve that one thing that we all share. We Canadians all have to fight to finally get a say between elections. We need to fight to make politicians accountable to us, the people. If there is no accountability, and the people have no say between elections, we have no Democracy. My Blog is written to teach the reader the essential knowledge of freedom and Democracy. Please read, and learn. I am one person, but I leave you my witness that one person is not powerless, only first you must first learn and then act. Let the democratic revolution begin. Kindest regards, Rob McQueen

I don’t agree with some of Gary Johnson’s issues either but I like him better than the other 2 options.

I agree with your assessment, and so does Ron Paul (the guy I really would prefer as the Republican candidate for President). You might note that Ron Paul stated that Americans should consider Gary Johnson, but he hesitates at giving him a outright endorsement. Still Gary is playing the “I’m like Ron Paul card” trying to capture the wave that Ron Paul has created.
