Vets Returned – At War With OUR Government

julian fantino

I grew up in a household of a man that lost his leg during WW2. We lived on a farm so from an early age I had to assume many of the chores that he couldn’t do.

Knowing what adjustments we had to make, I think It is despicable that our Government, that at the time was happy to send these people off to war as a political solution, is now happy to shuffle a problem that they created.

These heroes that came home from war also have families. I cannot imagine the terrible battle going on in the  PTSD soldier’s heads, and I cannot imagine living in the home of that soldier,  partners and children having to help pick up the emotional pieces of someone having to survive mentally from a war.

It take cruel people now to make these warriors to fight an added battle to survive financially now that he or she has come back home from war injured.

I hold Harper personally responsible for this. He appointed Julian Fantino to the portfolio. Harper chose a hardnose to deal with the file to close services for our vets, so it is no wonder that Fantino is a hardnose while he is dealing with vets. And while Fantino acts in such a callous way Harper has not intervened and the services are still withdrawn. And we know that in the Harper Government robots are picked to do their jobs.

About pushinback

Back in 1993, I attended an anti-Nafta rally in Ottawa along with over 110,000 others. But despite the overwhelming opposition to NAFTA, the steamroller rolled on. It was there that I came to understand the one vital thing that I have been preaching ever since. There are so many issues, and so many fighting each issue, we are all spinning our wheels, and wasting our time, talents and energy, because each election, we give the politicians our power and so the deck is stacked against us. I said it that day and I say it with more fervency today. We all have one issue that we share, and we should all stop fighting for our own issues and losing anyways, and we should fight to achieve that one thing that we all share. We Canadians all have to fight to finally get a say between elections. We need to fight to make politicians accountable to us, the people. If there is no accountability, and the people have no say between elections, we have no Democracy. My Blog is written to teach the reader the essential knowledge of freedom and Democracy. Please read, and learn. I am one person, but I leave you my witness that one person is not powerless, only first you must first learn and then act. Let the democratic revolution begin. Kindest regards, Rob McQueen
