So Your Afraid of China

So Your Afraid of China; well maybe there is not a good reason to be. There was a time that everyone in the World was terrified of China with it’s massive population. Imagine China with one fifth of the World’s population that could turn on us. But that was years ago when China was more aggressive, the  China of today is more preoccupied with making money than bombs, and besides there are big problems on China’s horizon, problems that you will hear about in the next few years and on the podcasts that I have provided.

Here are 2 podcasts to help you understand why China will not be a global threat, the leaders of China are too afraid of their own populations and self-made problems to cause anyone any harm.

This podcast is from CBC Radio, from the

The retirement crunch. You can’t preoccupy young men in the army, there are too many elderly to be fed.

Last point is that the young in China have greater expectations of the Government than their parents did, and likewise they do not have the fear of their Government like their parents did. In the last year there were more than 1100 mini uprisings, where factory workers stopped production over trouble over labour.

There is a index of social unrest for 2014 provided by the Economist. China is put on a high risk of unrest due to “China must surely be in “Very High Risk”. The problems that resulted in Tiananmen Square have not been resolved and have been exacerbated by catastrophic pollution and a failing economy.”

About pushinback

Back in 1993, I attended an anti-Nafta rally in Ottawa along with over 110,000 others. But despite the overwhelming opposition to NAFTA, the steamroller rolled on. It was there that I came to understand the one vital thing that I have been preaching ever since. There are so many issues, and so many fighting each issue, we are all spinning our wheels, and wasting our time, talents and energy, because each election, we give the politicians our power and so the deck is stacked against us. I said it that day and I say it with more fervency today. We all have one issue that we share, and we should all stop fighting for our own issues and losing anyways, and we should fight to achieve that one thing that we all share. We Canadians all have to fight to finally get a say between elections. We need to fight to make politicians accountable to us, the people. If there is no accountability, and the people have no say between elections, we have no Democracy. My Blog is written to teach the reader the essential knowledge of freedom and Democracy. Please read, and learn. I am one person, but I leave you my witness that one person is not powerless, only first you must first learn and then act. Let the democratic revolution begin. Kindest regards, Rob McQueen
