I like to bring my readers resourses that perhaps they will not be aware of or access to. This article features a podcast from Ideas, a CBC Radio One program from Canada. The original plodcast was call The Sorrows of Empire, inspired by the book of the same title, but the podcast more accurately events of the decline of the American Empire. It is very though as it chronicles the past events of Americas fall.
Why is it important to listen to this podcast? It is because this is a time that we will witness and experience in the next 20 years, and knowledge is power, in so much as we will know better the future and be able to set our personal courses on a path to protect our interest, whether that be financial, or personal security.Wishing us all the best.
This is the preamble of the radio show:
On the anniversary of 9-11, IDEAS revisits an interview with academic Chalmers Johnson who suggested that failure in Iraq might mark the beginning of the end of the American Empire.
