A Birthday Dream

King Rob the Cob

Friends. It  is my birthday today. Hurray. Now that is out of the way, I want to kick up a special stink today, you can call it the STINK of ROB, and I have the idea to do just that, kick up a stink. Watch this clip. It is very well done. Moreover, it clearly lays out Canada’s problem with inequality. We in the ranks of the Activists already know this stuff. So say we do something to move this knowledge a little higher up the ladder, to those not in the ranks of the 1%, but those that have a greater influence than us; City Mayors, City Police Chiefs (so they understand why we protest), to city Chamber of Commences, to presidencies of service clubs, like The Rotary Club, the Knights of Columbus, Kiwanis, the Legion, and whoever else we can think of. If you can look up one or more email address(es) and email this clip to them asking, or suggesting that they watch this, then maybe this knowledge would be moved up to a place of power that is not in their jurisdiction. Do it in your City and send it to friends in other cities across Canada, and ask them to catch the vision.

The idea is to normalize this information, so that these people of influence are not feeling that they are stepping out into a place that is unpopular, and unknown. We can help them to step up to take a more leadership role, when we need those from one step above us to step up.

I truely believe that this is a way to push the movement forward; if we commit ourselves to send at least one out, or if you see the wisdom, and the vision of this to commit yourselves to send out 1 a day, or 1 a week. Save what you write to a word processor and cut and paste, inserting the correct name, or title of the person you are sending it to, you can send your messages on with less effort, but to greater effect. And if you would like the help, I will dig up the email addresses to help our anyone that would like to join this initiative, then you would only have to put the address on your email, put in the correct name or title, and cut and paste the saved message and pop, hit the send button and you are done.

Thank you for reading my rambling dream. And if you can add to this idea, please contact me. We all have great ideas to share and some greatness in us all.

Kindest regards.

Rob McQueen

PS: I commit myself to 5 sent out today

About pushinback

Back in 1993, I attended an anti-Nafta rally in Ottawa along with over 110,000 others. But despite the overwhelming opposition to NAFTA, the steamroller rolled on. It was there that I came to understand the one vital thing that I have been preaching ever since. There are so many issues, and so many fighting each issue, we are all spinning our wheels, and wasting our time, talents and energy, because each election, we give the politicians our power and so the deck is stacked against us. I said it that day and I say it with more fervency today. We all have one issue that we share, and we should all stop fighting for our own issues and losing anyways, and we should fight to achieve that one thing that we all share. We Canadians all have to fight to finally get a say between elections. We need to fight to make politicians accountable to us, the people. If there is no accountability, and the people have no say between elections, we have no Democracy. My Blog is written to teach the reader the essential knowledge of freedom and Democracy. Please read, and learn. I am one person, but I leave you my witness that one person is not powerless, only first you must first learn and then act. Let the democratic revolution begin. Kindest regards, Rob McQueen
